With a degree in horticulture, I have brought my love of flowers and nature to quilting. My days of working in, and owning greenhouses are over, and a new stage of life is began in 2007. I have a husband at home, and my 3 sons are now out on their own in the military. I am learning to live now with fibromyalgia, which can limit what I am able to do easily some days, and I find my art is just the thing I need to bury myself in, to forget what is going on in my body. My goals for this year are to begin to enter quilt competitions, teach, lecture, and expand my horizons with new techniques, etc. in my quilting and fabric painting.
