Sue's Quilted Gardens

With a degree in horticulture, I have brought my love of flowers and nature to quilting. My days of working in, and owning grenhouses are over, and a new stage of life is beginning in 2007. I have a husband at home, and my 3 sons are now mostly on their own at college, or in the Air Force. I am learning to live now with fibromyalgia, which can limit what I am able to do easily some days, and I find my art is just the thing I need to bury myself in, to forget what is going on in my body. This is the first chance I have had to work with my quilting and art full time. My goals for this year are to begin to enter quilt competitions, teach, lecture, and expand my horizons with new techniques, etc. in my quilting and fabric painting.
